Goid morning.
I wonder if the wrong name and address was put on these items. And then when the person who ordered said item.comp!wins the company just says well it was delivered, and you should go ask your neighbors, possibly one of them took it..smh
We were.supposed to have a storm last night, and thankfully we did not.

Exercise equipment? Wow, my neighbor received body wash a few years ago that she never ordered. When she called, they just told her to keep it.. Pouring rain again today, it is so cold that we have the wood stove lit the past two days. I hope the cold weather doesn't stunt my pepper plants.

Your peppers should be ok..I often found mine did better in the cool of the fall, so hopefully yours will be of now...we are supposed to have weather on the 80's today...I hope that is so. My garden would appreciate that. I wish I would " accidentally" got some exercise equipment. I had a bike back home. But I had taken some of it apart to put new batteries on it and then I could not find the battery size so I left it in Illinois..at good will. I wish I had not of done that. They are so terribly high now days.

I bought a folding bike a few years ago for $80 at Walmart....they were on clearance because they were pink. 🦩 The weather went from the 90s to 40s in the span of one week here....of course, right after I planted my peppers and tomato plants.

Way back in the day I bought my exercise bike just after Christmas. It was $69.00 ( before tax). I sure wish I had it back now. Oh well. That was then, this is now.

Junie, they have the ones at Walmart that you use sitting in a chair. They buy them for the seniors care homes....they cost $50 here, I bet they are even cheaper where you live. It is a small portable unit that you can use anywhere.

Only going to get into the low 80's today. I guess I should get some outdoor stuff done.

Still pouring rain here, I cleaned the house and mopped. My poor lawn is a mess.

I envy you all the water, especially since you can save it. I hope most of it soaks into the soil.

It soaked and now sits in the drills in my garden. I'll probably have to reseed my bush beans, they'll probably decay before growing. Come the middle of July to August, we'll be begging for rain...Mother Nature is a strange one.

I went out early today to trim a few azaleas. Even in this dry heat they grow unbelievably fast.
I used to have exercise equipment but found I didn't use it much at home. I do a lot better when I go to the gym.

Azaleas are pretty, but they do not overwinter here.
Yay for ripe tomatoes. Hopefully the grands share with you next time.😘

Ok, new rant.
I drove almost 20 minutes to go to the post office to mail a parcel to the USA. I am told rules have now changed. I have to register on an app, show what I'm sending....with receipts. Give all my information, then pay a fee and duties to send cross border. I will then get a pin and qr code to show the post office.
I then have to pay for shipping and insurance on top of the fee and duty. So a $35 gift will cost over $70 to send (she estimated). Get this, when I tell her I don't have internet on my phone to show the qr code and pin number I am given when the fees and duty is paid, how am I supposed to send the gift??? I'm told to go buy a better phone with a phone plan.
I am so @#$&ing pissed off. I wanted to cry. They used to do that for parcels over $800, then it moved to $100 in August....now it's everything.

I intend to ask at my Post Office what the rules would be if I was sending a gift out of the country. As luck would have it, I am soon going to mail a few boxes to my DD who lives on the East Coast so I will know sooner rather than later. Gracious..you have my sympathies, Sunny.

Its a hassle, added fees, duties and tariffs on gifts. Then having to do custom forms and declaration forms online. I am so sick of all this online crap....not everyone has an iPhone in their back pocket. They already charge a fortune for mailing and insurance. No wonder Canada Post is ready to go under.
I was so upset that I left without even mailing the card. 🙄

Oh every time I send a package out of the country I have to fill out custom forms...but just what it is and the price ( I estimate) and then the 2 addresses. That part if not so hard but I have never needed receipts. They take my word.for it.. No declaration forms though. As I said I will Check on new regulations when I next go to the post office.

We used to fill out custom forms like that, just an estimate at the post office. Now it's online, picture of said item, where it was manufactured and receipt of the price. What a hassle. I cut grass yesterday, after over a week of rain....it was a mess of weeds. I raked for a couple of hours. Today I'll weed flower beds. When you get two dry days in a row, one has to be productive.😉

That's terrible Sunny. I've got plenty of green tomatoes on the vine but no ripe ones yet. I'm wondering if they'll even ripen in this heat BUT I have been getting a lot of cucumbers and some squash - not as much squash as in years past but enough to eat once in a while. I planted 3 more squash seeds yesterday. We'll see if they come up.

Jeepers Bestofour, we are fighting for a dry day here...and the weather is cold. Hopefully you'll soon get better weather, then it will be our turn for the heat and drought. We were warned that July and August will be bad like last summer. Everything was a dried crisp.
