hello can anyone tell me what type of soil i need to start my veggie seeds

Well there are some differences between one veggie and another as concerns soil as well as other requirements. But for the most part a starter soil that is lighter than most other potting soils will probably be fine. The main thing that it has going for it is that it is light and that it doesn't contain any fertilizer. The seeds provide their own nutrients during the germination process.

tomatoes like a mix of 50% garden soil and 50% compost. And fertilize about every 6 weeks.

The other ones I'm not personally aquainted with.
