On the advice of a friend I bought one of these tomatoes. She said hers produced huge amounts of tomatoes.
I'm not sure about the other tomatoes I planted so I thought I would hedge my bets with this plant. I've got my fingers crossed that it grows and produces well.

It's a good thing I bought this tomato plant. Because something stepped on one of my other tomato plants and I didn't realize it until it was dead. What ever it was got half of another tomato plant but there are still some leaves near the root that look ok so I just topped that one and will hope for the best.

Nothing tastes as good as a vine ripened tomatoe. yum. I always grow the cherry type here, they are the only ones that have time to ripen on the plant.

I've heard the sweet 100's are great producers throughout the summer. An older classic, I think too.

That sounds great to me. I'd like one that produces before fall.

I have buds on this plant but no tomatoes yet. And I have bees. But they seem to like the Anenome 'virginus' rather than the tomatoes. I hope they make it over there to do the polinating anyway. They seem to have with the 'sweet williams' so hopefully they will get to the 'one hundreds' as well.

Plant bee balm at the edge of your veggie garden, draws them in like crazy.

Thanks Tamara, I'll look into that. I think I have some seeds for that around here somewhere.

Tammy, I am a sweet 100 fan, they produce lots of sweet cherry tomatoes, you will never bore of them! Just be sure not to get the leaves wet, or they will die, I learned the hard way one year. Also, you have to "spank" them to get them to pollinate & put on a good harvest.

Borage draws bees as well, but my tomatoes are doing quite well and I don't really have that many bees either.

I've read somewhere that most tomatoes are self-pollinating. That's why a lot of people can grow them indoors or in greenhouses.
