If they are first year strawberrys- trim them off. You can also put small pots of soil under the runners, let them root, then cut them and plant them where you please.
I have a few that have VERY TINY roots going. .. . both of wich I planted proper depth into the soil where i would like them to grow.
How long should the roots get before I cut the feeding runner? The roots are at most, 1/4" long. . . not very long at all. Should i wait a week or 2? These "new plants" have 2nd set of leaves already coming out.
