Actually I'm looking for Tribasic Copper Sulfate 4 lb, Copper-Count N, or Citcop 4E 2 to 3 qt, or Kocide 101 1.0 to 1.5 lb per 100 gal water). The addition of 200 ppm streptomycin.
I'm trying to get rid of Bacterial Leave Spot on my peppers before it spreads to my tomatoes. One of the problems is that I only need a little bit because I only have a little garden.
never mind. I just read an article that it can't be cured. Grrrrrrrh. That just frosts me. Another year without peppers. Oh well that give me time to cure the bed and then use it for something else this summer.
I am such an idiot. 20.00 for the copper spray and it's going to be enough for 2 sprayings and that's all. I need enough to continue spraying throughout the entire growing season. Grrrrrh. I'm an idiot. Well back to the google and see if I can get it in "bulk" for my garden.
Hi TK. I suggest you look for disease resistant varieties next season. Why you wanna spend all that money and put all those chemicals in your soil? It would be cheaper and you'd be better off to go buy organically grown peppers.
Very true and it's very good to hear from you longy. I don't see enough of you. This is the first time I've run into this disease and I hate to loose all the work I've already done so the spray. Especially since this maybe the last year I have a garden.
And of course the home grown veggies are just a side benefit of the gardening it's watching them grow and know that I had something to do with it that really is the reward.
I hope to see you posting lots more. I always look forward to hearing what you have to say.
