Wrennie, with my wages and still catching up on car bills I can't afford a rental. Triss said she could come and get me. I'm still working on a day that I can make it. Aros is planning on taking the 5th and 6th off work and if we don't take the kids anywhere I can go one of those days because he'll be home with the kids. He might work though, and I can't leave the kids home alone and be that far away. He's also thinking of taking those 2 days to take them to wild waves. I'll know more as it gets closer.
Shaun finally came by and configured the router so I could set up the Bird Cam. He also set up the new outdoor stereo system. It sounds great... but we blew two of my rock speakers while testing it.... I wonder what would happen if added my Sansuis... There are harmless spiders here but you will probably never see them.
Triss or Bill, is it really muddy walking around up there???? I have new Reeboks I just bought, and my really old gross beat up ones that I don't really want to wear but I will if it can get really yucky.
I just put a quick post in the CH to let everyone know why I wasn't on last night or today at all. So thought I'd come here a minute also. My PC keeps freezing and going totally black, and I lose anything I was doing or typing! I guess I'm going to have to call my PC doctor (my son!).
Getting off before I freeze up or black out again.
I'm excited for you all. Yep, no flip-flop for Cindy!!!! ha ha!!!
My station here doesn't check bags....we're allowed 2 carry ons a piece though at the size of 28x22x14 inches. That's pretty big....and that doesn't inlclude your laptop of purse.....I think I'll try to pack everything into 3 small suitcases/bags....and take a spare one so I can bring stuff back.
The train looks really nice! I bet you are going to have a wonderful time and hopefully the trip goes faster than you would expect! Wave at me as you got through MN!
Mark should tell his mom tonight, she'll be so jealous. She takes those bus tours and stuff, but the furthest west she's been is Missouri and Tennessee.
I should post a list of stuff to take for the trip on the train and WA....and if you all see anything I've missed you could let me know.
