Do you think this lemon stayed on the tree a bit too long? And with my sunglasses for size . Sorry it's so dark. It didn't look like that on my little camera screen. Now my batteries need recharging so no do-overs right now.

The glasses were the quickest item to compare sizes so I grabbed them. A good size even for a grapefruit but it really is a neglected lemon.

When I used to go visit my grandparents, My grandpa would hand me a lemon and say "Sweets for the sweet". I loved their year-round lemons. That is why I have one.

Oh, the baking I could do if I had access to real lemons, yumm.
Amazing, I've never seen a lemon bigger than an apple before.

I only use a few lemons, Tamara. Jonni eats a couple now and then. The rest just drop and get raked up. I'll toss a couple in my worm bin once in a while but they are really not so good for the worms so not many. Mostly use them there to help keep gnats away. The tree almost always has blossoms, green and ripe fruit on it at the same time year round. I love it but don't use it correctly.

I know what you mean, Tina, I don't take advantage of my Meyer lemons. Mostly I pick one once in awhile and keep a half at the sink for my hands. Triss, pick and eat like an orange????

Just like an orange (with a little more salivating).

Yes, lemons (and oranges) are good for bug repellants. Like citronella candles. They don't like the smell. So gnats, flies and mosquitoes stay a bit away.
