hey how are you all? I really like the orchid cacti pics. Could I get a cutting of one? I could do a trade of something or send postage. It roots easily I gather from the posts. Diane

He ran over a 2 ft tropical sunset brugmansia.I have the mowed half...what the mower left which is maybe 8 inches in water. It had nubs,so should pot it before something else...like the dog comes along.
I hated haveing few beds to see on my epi,but got more plant for them to form on now and may be better next year.I mean I got NO BLOOMS FOR 3YEARS!But I had like over 10 last year. And it may have been cause divided it,but I didn't want it to blow to the ground again& i'm just SURE Tammy is enjoying fineally haveing one too.
I got dragon fruit cuttings today!
Dianne-buzzylady.I do have a leaf thats rooted already in a pot.

Njoynit, is your orchid catus related to the night-blooming cyrus (not sure of the spelling)? The plant part looks very much like it, but the bloom is different. Do you know the botanical name?

yes epi strictum is related to night blooming cerus. buzzy...give me a buzz of what ya got(pretty malva, love its color, pretty petunia too on page 2) cerus peruvianus http://www.cactushill.com/Photos/blooms/cereus.htmI've grown before.it don't like alot of water in winter prefers very dry. epi oxypetalum opens earlier than mine& hear the smell is strange. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Epiphyllum_oxypetalumI think THIS is the true queen of the night.Selenicerus http://davesgarden.com/pf/go/62764/http://davesgarden.com/pf/showimage/35518/But are many in the cerus family.I believe they are all night bloomers. This is just some of the more common ones. I just added a cutting to the pot 2 days ago.I seen one of them huge locust sitting on a stem...so I flipped him....and with the stem being new...it broke the leaf.My other leafs stuck in pots have been getting new growth now....and see some growth on 3 of my dragonfruit cuttings. This is my hoya plant, but he has a nice leaf in with him thats had some new leaves forming and more are forming now. flowers/july262007hoyaNepistrictumcutting.jpg" alt="[Linked Image]" class="post-image" style="height:auto!important;max-width:100%!important;"/>
