Some of us have problems with deer, I'm having fun with our new kittens.
They're making a mess of my flowerbeds.
They're so cute and lovable, but oh the damage they have done already. Today they broke off one of my lilies.
Here's a pic of them looking so sweet and cute. They're 2 months old. The one on the left is Toffee and the one on the right is Zipper, the middle one we're not to sure what to name her, she is gray with white paws.

When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it. If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant. Mary Ann LaPensee
Here is my campanula persicifolia in bud - it will probably open tomorrow, but I was happy to see the bright color this morning. AND... it's [color:#000000]NOTpink!
My first white coneflower of this year opened fully today. (Wrennie - I saw a few more babies underneath this plant so hopefully they will be white - you won't know until next year unfortunately...)
Oooh pretty!! I'll take a 50/50 on the color. I need to start making a spot on my hill for a coneflower garden to start. Time to dig up some treasures.

Can't wait to see what you find this time!
By the waaaaaaaaaay - you do know that coneflowers are deer candy, right???
oh, and I just came inside from potting up about 8 babies for you - all in 1 pot because they are still very little.
Love your flowers everyone, wish so much ours would start to bloom, we're still too cold for much to happen.
Loz, I love hydrandeas too but mine hasn't done anything for 3 years now. It's a Annabella one which I'm told should be cut back in spring, which I did but now it's coming in so slow. I'm kind of worried nothing will come of it this year. I know it's only June but.....

WOW Wrennie and Triss! Talk about bright colors - eye popping!
Wrennie - I was wondering what all the yellow flowers were in my neighborhood - now I know thanks to you! I am only familiar with the pink evening primroses! And that lupine - I'm also jealous - the one time I tried growing them here they didn't take.
Lookey! The town planted a perrenial borde next to the deck in front of my store! I cant wait to seed snitch. I have to get more pics I missed a couple I dont know what they are.
Triss what you call Lychnis and Wrennie calls rose campion look the same. I have that plant here as well and thought it was called Mullien. Are they all the same plant or a variation?
~~Tam~ You can bury all your troubles by digging in the dirt.
Mullein is a very tall wed. The flower, yellow is a spike that come up out of a rosette of fuzzy leaves similar to lambsquaters see mullein In the back of my mind i think there are other types of mullein rose campion and lychnis are the same thing rose campion
Are you saying that you don't know what these 3 plants are, or the other ones you didn't get pics of yet? The first one is a very pretty colored coneflower - echinacea, and the bottom one is yarrow - also a very pretty color!!!
