I have two of these bushes in the backyard bed. Do you dead head yours or just let them bloom and go to seed naturally? Does it help the plant at all? Or just help facilitate more blooms.

Has anyone ever transplanted them to new places in the yard? They are kind of a pricey plant and don't want to kill them. I am thinking of moving them to the front yard for next year and wondering if it is worth the risk.

Knockout roses are supposed to be "self-cleaning" so you don't have to deadhead them. However, mine tend to slow down blooming in mid-summer, so I go ahead and deadhead them and they get a big flush of blooms in early fall. I've never tried to transplant one, but I think it would be easy enough. Just make sure you give it ample water when you do.
