I buckled and bought one of these plants at the nursery because I love the color! It was expensive, $9.75, but I am hoping it will continue to spread so I can move it around to other beds in my yard. I love this flower! Here's a photo of it online:


Anyone buy this version? I saw it available online for $16.00, maybe I don't feel so bad about the price.

Very pretty.. I just saw one of those today at the greenhouse next door. Hers were only $5.99 though.. I wonder why yours was so expensive.

This place is a bit on the high side, but they have great variety of plants and usually larger specimens. (You realize I am only trying to talk myself out of feeling ripped off). Hee hee.

Most of the green houses around me are lacking in a lot of variety so I tend to shop here for the different types of plants they offer. Usually their day lilys, they have such a variety.

That is gorgeous - I've not seen that color around here yet!

If it's anything like mine, it will send up seedlings all over next year - after the birds dine on the seeds and scatter some in the process. Or... you can collect the seeds when the heads are brown and dry, before the birds get to them. I usually do a bit of each. I went from 3 small plants, to what looks like a small hedge now - love it!
