(Don't mean to interject...but I I've put two cool pictures of the flamingo in the garden at night in the dark, on the Bird Cam topic...if you'd like to see!)

Cedar Hill is a magical place at night.... wish you could see the Fairy Garden right now, or hear the CindyBirds at sunrise!

...after I poof Bill for posting a picture that exceeds the forum limit.
That picture Loz posted in cedar Hill memories ~2~ of the sparkly fireworks and smoke..... go look..... I see a fairy in the smoke. See it? Upper right corner is her wings she'd bent at the waist with her head almost on her knees, the knee/leg being the angular smoke on the bottom left. {Come ON! Use a little imagination!!}
OK you two. Don't make me send you to your corners!
Ya know rachel, While I was reading the "goings on" between Cindy & Bill last night, I thought to interject MY thoughts--(they were exactly the same as yours) BUT I thought I should NOT interfere. So I am especially tickled to see that you had the same thought

Life isn't about how to survive the storm, but how to dance in the rain!! .....
Good Morning all. I have something to post & since I do not know exactly where is the proper place--heer goes:
Bill, I just finished reading "The Further Misadventures of Wild Willy." WOW such a great read--and such wonderful pictures--I especially love the beautiful winter pictures of :Hummingbird House-Dec. 2, 2005. the plus is, I understand so much more now---
I also wanted to tell you that I have taken down several color combinations of your "willies" (& a few of appleblossom's too) and when I return to ceramics here in a few weeks, I am going to make a set of "Willies" for myself.-----it will be the 2nd set I have made.
& finally---badplanter & Cindy: (having read about the "fork naming incident) I was wondering, now that I am a member of GH--is it requiset that I name MY forks???

thanks Loz--I was there once--i guess I was just too fast with my looking--
and no hurry about the pictures--I can be patient--I just thought it sounded like you somehow had miraculously gotten done--& if this was so, I wondered where they were-- so sorry--I did not mean to sound like I was rushing you--and i realize you have other things to do also--.

First pics you'll all see will be from our trip across the US to Bills. They're the ones that are almost done.
Remember though some will be blurry----we were moving at 80 plus miles an hour. How do I know that? There was a man onboard with a GPS thing and it was tracking our speed...pretty cool.
It's just darn hard to get good pics at 80 miles an hour....but some of them are really nice.
If so this is only a small part of the pics.....pics on the way to the festivities while on the train....some are pretty blurry, but that's from the speed of the train.
Let me know if it works. Oh and I look so bad in some of them. Some were smoke breaks at midnight or 5 in the morning where I didn't brush my hair or have makeup on. There are a few in there of Chicago, but I got tons more of Chicago on the way home since we stayed the night.
Mark was taking pictures of nothing half the time..... He was bored and kept taking the camera....so there are quite a few of trees and fields, but hey, I'm glad he took them in a way......it was all part of the trip.
Now let me finish up the CH pictures, then I'll move on to the trip home pictures.
