Well one of my daylilies bloomed in the front yard, its a peach! Literally. This one is really a neat color to me. (Not sure which ones I transplanted up there so this is a nice surprise.) ![[Linked Image]](http://img2.putfile.com/thumb/7/19119532610.jpg) My huge monarda bed is in full bloom, (its my freebee transplant I received from my mom.) ![[Linked Image]](http://img2.putfile.com/thumb/7/19119532618.jpg) The daisy transplant she gave me, is blooming, but the blooms look crappy. Any ideas why? ![[Linked Image]](http://img2.putfile.com/thumb/7/19119532658.jpg)

Nice flowers. A bug may have chewed on the daisy bud before it opened fully giving it that ragged look.

I really like your dill picture, Wrennie! At first I was thinking "fireworks", but Diane is right - sparklers!!! And I had to stop and think about what you meant about your sedum "not in a cat planter"!!! Can we say I'm "sleep deprived"?!?

thats a bloom on the BABY. I've took some MOT photos.you'll see sometime next week.that is the color of the blooms though, maybe a hair lighter in shadeing in the winter months.Mine sit in full sun on deck(well watered& multiplied of course). Here is Robe JMG. ![[Linked Image]](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v738/njoynit/Vines/th_July142007hangingveiwof1stbloomonro.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v738/njoynit/Vines/th_July142007RobeJMGcloseup.jpg) I might grow it on seedling pink next year. Its foliage is variegated also...a plus.It would maybe look better with less rain.....but we like the rain...less watering for me!

![[Linked Image]](http://img2.putfile.com/thumb/7/19419045060.jpg) Photo of the front yard bed to the east of the front door, its a year older than the bed in front of the house. I have to move the Russian Sage, its getting squeezed and not growing to its potential. I ran out of extra topsoil today to amend the hole before moving. I will do that some other day. I am hoping that will help it take off next year and give it room to grow ginormous.

Is that Bishop's weed in the corner? I have it too and once it grows it chokes out everything. Very invasive and I can't rid of it now.

Yes, it came with the house. I keep it only in the corner, theres a bit of a ridge forming a mini bed and if it creeps out of that area, I just pull it. Only about a five minute job each year. I use a couple of squirts of roundup where I pull it to keep it back. I was forewarned of its invasiveness so I practice tough love. ;)

Oh, I love sunflowers. Mine are only a foot high, poor things have been rained out. My Rugosa bush is so heavy with blooms, I had to stake it. I am amazed. It was just one of those $3 bushes in a bag from Wal-Mart planted last year.

I love the yellow sedum very pretty..think it'd choke weeds? To me the heavenly blue seemed small this year and yes later blooming, but they look better now and is a few seeds I've sown that collected& those vines look healthier. I collect my weeds in 5 gallon bucket or landry basket...and in the fall.....when doing cleanup...I use the trash can that I use for carrying compost, leaves what-have-you in the garden(also has holes in bottom,so handy when cleaning out pond too.submerge bucket...dump...got pond debree for compost! I like the red sunflower.I've got moulin rouge sown, but not seen it yet. I KINDA caught that yellow butterfly.I think he's a type of sulpher. If I could just fine a dead one! ![[Linked Image]](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v738/njoynit/Flowers/th_July142007sulphertypebutterflyontal.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v738/njoynit/Flowers/th_July142007atypeofsulpherbutterfly.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v738/njoynit/Flowers/th_July142007brightfushiacrepemyrtle.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v738/njoynit/Flowers/th_July142007hygrandgeabloomending.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v738/njoynit/Flowers/th_July142007hygrandgeabloom.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v738/njoynit/Flowers/th_July142007hexbedbirdhouse.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v738/njoynit/Flowers/th_July142007hexbed1.jpg) My favorite crepe Mrytle.a nice bright fushia pink.I will be collecting seeds off this one. a pair of hygrandgea flowers one just opening and the other mostly dried on plant. another shot of hex bed& birdhouse
