Anyone plant Hosta from seeds this spring??????????I have some growing and they been abut an inch tall ever since......Did get wider.. ANyone know how long it takes to become a Hosta?????????
I've heard they were easy to start from seed but I've never had luck. I remember ther is this japanese site talking about it, and I think it takes about 8 months to get to a size for a gallon pot, let me see if I can find the site

oh i hope not!! i just put out all of the one's i just got!! they were maui and some others like that!! i so hope mine come up!! they haven't and i planted them over a month ago!! i thought i was doing something wrong!!

Now back to the question......I have some more Hosta about 2 inches tall. And yes they seem to take forever to germinate.........
hmmmm....patience is not one of those virtues that the good LORD gave to me when i was born, come to think of it, he didn't give me any!! LOL well, that's not really true, he gave me kindness!! and a nice smile to give and a warm heart!! so i just love them plants!! and wait and wait and wait for them seeds to come up, ugh!!!! LOL
