Great! Now, lets just tell my husband that...pass the tissue, and throw the dog off the bed. Tell her to "go get daddy"...hehehe. He hasn't even taken me to the houseplant store (really! A WHOLE STORE, just houseplants!) since the neighbor moved, and left me all his plants...

Where are you now Bill? Are you going to post your trip on the internet like Santa Claus so we'll know where you are?

If such a trip were ever to happen, I would have to get a laptop and wireless internet before I left... and then I could show everyone's homes and gardens to the world...

By the time you made it to Maine, Bill, the kid 'n I might be tent camping in lieu of adequate housing options, but you'd still be welcome to draw up a log to sit by our campfire.
I am a marvelous open-fire cook!

No, I wasn't avoiding answering your question but there is no answer because it would be impossible for me to even consider such a trip at this time. I don't even have a car that works! When I finally get to take my road trip, I'll keep everyone posted about where and when and who and stuff!

That's awesome! You deserve it! Are you going to be able to haul around plants in that? What if it gets dirty?

I'll just buy a new one! I'm a gardener living on a dirt road, somehow I think I'll learn to live with a "little" dirt...
