We don't know what we would do without your quick wit, Cindy. You add a lot to the board and give us all something to smile about! From drunk slugs and Lola's antics to the crazy goings-on of Freckles, you just about cover all the animal kingdom. How is Freckles, by the way? Did you lose him in the move? I remember when I first joined this board that I couldn't wait to read what one of your menagerie had been up to just to get my day started with a laugh. Dianna

How is Freckles, by the way? You know, people ask me that all the time. I'm thinking about starting a Freckles/Lola/Skunk/Slug update topic! There's 2 little newsworthy tidbits about Freckles that I'm sure you all would be most interested in! (One is bad, and the other is worse!) ![laugh laugh](/old/images/graemlins/default/laugh.gif)

Ok Cindy....spill the beans about Freckles. I have heard about Lola (my sister used to have an African Grey named Gabby but had to give him to the University when he beat the holy **** out of her cat. He is around a ton of people all the time and is a beloved mascot of the vet collage) but as I am new here...who is Freckles?

Since this thread was originally about gross stuff in food, I thought it would be a great place to post about the prank I pulled on Maxi this afternoon.... A few weeks ago he was given a small rubber brain that can fit in the palm of your hand. You are supposed to squeeze it as a stress reliever or to build up hand strength. Well, he'd forgotten he has it, so when I came across it today, I stuck it in my pocket. Later, we were in the kitchen together and I was sitting sideways to where he was standing, so he could only see me from one side. I put the brain in my opposite hand away from him, and held it up against the side of my head. I said "Gee, Maxi, I feel really sick. I feel like I might throw up! Oops, I think I am going to puke my brains out!" then I made a sound and tossed the brain in front of me. He jumped back, laughing, and screamed "Mommy! That is so not right! That is so NOT funny!" So of course, then he had to pick it up and show me all the other ways you could dispose of the brain out of the body.... At 9, he and his friends are all into body parts and body noises, so I knew he'd be hepped up about this prank, and he was. Merme

![ters ters](/old/images/graemlins/default/crying.gif) Cindy your Freckles brought tears to my eyes she reminds me of our Ginger we had she followed me everywhere when I mowed I had to watch so she didn't get hurt. She followed like that until she got so old she couldn't then she would lay where she could watch me. She died at about 19 years old. Like the rest of our animals she was thrown away and Billie rescued her. At one time we had 28 dogs, 6 birds, 1 cat, 2Hampsters and about 80 Guinie (sp)pigs. So you see the animals I have now are not many compared. God will bless you for taking care of his animals I realy beleive this. Jimmy
