Hi Kathy I'm 48 years young and have been married almost 31 years. We have two boys. One is 30 and lives on the west coast with his wife and two kids and the other lives on the east coast. He's 28. They both did a stint in the Marine Corps. I have six siamese cats and just recently inherited an 19 month old black lab... Jasmine. We are learning to live by her rules We own a Goldwing motorcyle and love to travel on it. There's nothing like the mountains on a bike!! I love working outdoors and just recently started doing some gardening for an elderly woman who thought her days of enjoying flowers were over. It's been a heartwarming experience for me! I also help moderate a surgical site for woman and my heart is closest to those woman who can no longer have children, so it's nice to meet you and see that you opened your heart and adopted a child. hugs, auntnene ok.... next??

This is a cool idea, I always picture people on here a certain way. Let's see how right we are. I am 31 ,have a DH who's 35 and a 15 year old daughter. We've been together going on 17 years. Have no pets at the moment. Currently unemployed (o.k. now I'm starting to get depressed ) I'm 5'5", blonde hair and blue eyes. Live in the country in a bungalow house with farm land surrounding me. (this is starting to sound like a dating service )And I love to garden and clean things.

Hi there! My name is Jenn and I'm 25. I'm married to Stephen (26). We have 3 cats: Coho, Thumbs, and Snot and 2 gerbils (which I keep at school) named Cheerio and Peanut. We live in Pennsylvania about an hour northwest of Philly. I'm a teacher at a daycare and teach the Pre-toddler class (1 year olds). I LOVE my job! We own a single home (not attached to any others. semi's are common around here). We have a good sized backyard with a garage in the back. I inherited the gardens from the house's previous owner and found this site while trying to find information on how to take care of the plants. Although I haven't really been in the garden much this spring because of a car accident that I was in back in March. I currently have a hole in my leg (did you get the picture Jiffy?) that I'm waiting to get healed up. I guess that's about it for me. Glad you found the site. We have the best group of people here. They are the most caring people you'll ever find!

Hi there Kathy--I'll bet your little girl Kaylee is really sweet. Glad to have you here and welcome to the forum. I moved to the US from England with my immediate family when I was 7 years old....Still a UK citizen but I consider the US my home and would like to become a citizen so I can vote. My real name is Laura, I'm 29 and I've been married for almost 6 years to my wonderful hubby Mark. No kids yet, but I'm a heck of a good aunt, if I do say so myself. I'm 5'10", with long auburn hair and brown eyes.....although my hair has been every color between black and blonde.

Jiffy, I just *knew* you were stealing my idea! (Actually, at first I thought my old post got a bump, but then I saw this very handsome young man, and said, umm... nope, them's not my girls..) Ok, so I'm Meg, or Megan. I've been married to my high school sweetheart for ummm.. 16 years this June 17th. We have 2 daughters, ages 10 & nearly 8, and 3.5 cats. (One is a part timer that belongs to the neighbors, but prefers to hang out here, and steal the other cat's food..lol.) I'm 5'3" on a good day, mostly brown hair, brown eyes, undertall, basically a stay at home mom. I work for a friend who sells on ebay, been doing that for almost 3 years. (I'm actually getting a little tired of it, but the pay is ok, and the hours are flexible to me & the girls needs.) I like this place, a lot. Been here almost a year now, and they still let me talk, and post pictures, even tho I don't have much to contribute. I'm still learning this gardening thing, but I love it. I got hooked as soon as I had stuff actually live. That's about it.. and this is me. Meg

Anne McCaffrey said, "My hair is grey, my eyes are green all else changes without notice." or something to that effect. That's very true for me as well. I am single and staying that way!!! PTSD and relationships are a very poor combination and after years of trying to put them together I am through. No fault of the guys I just get antsy after a few years and have to GET OUT at any cost. I'm on disability for a couple of different problems one physical that limits what I can do. So I garden in 15 minute increments and space even very short trips away from home about 3 to 5 days apart so I have time to recover. I am a beginner gardener and love learning all the information people are so willing to share on this site. My " weed patch" is an 8' x 75' strip of government land behind the apartment/commerical building I live in. I love to do PROJECTS all kinds of projects, any kind of project. But it has to be big enough for me to see. My eyes aren't what they used to be. Hope you get as much enjoyment out of the forum as I do & WELCOME.

We have two kids Jeremiah (turning 20) and Amanda (17). Currently we live in New Brunswick, just outside of Fredericton, and no I am not moving anymore. Army wife and army brat and I am finally done. Been seriously gardening for around 13 or so year, mostly perennials. We always had a veggie garden at move and when we lived close by help her plant and take care of it. Tell you how badly I love garden, this last move was choosen by garden zone and what I could grow LOL. Just starting the new gardens this year. We live on 1 1/2 acres with that 1/2 being pretty swampy ewwww.
