Most definately. Franny you are in my prayers that the break heals quickly and does not give you much pain or itching from the cast.

I wanted to share this here so Francine would not have to retype. Originally posted by Francine: we were waiting at the cash, keith was in front of me;i sliped into some stuff, same color as the floor i think twas some kind of liquid soap someone had spilled, they just put a 2x2 tiny little caution thing, but the spill we noticed later must ve been a good 4x5ish.
keith turned aroud upon hearing that big thump and saw me on the floor, all my left side was full of soapy white stuff, coat and all,all black.he was livi, reason or another he don t like when i ve got a booboo.they asked me if i wanted to report it,the only thing i wanted was to get out and home to an ice pack, later that day we finally reported it.at night i realise my arm didn tgo even to half to my face so i told meself it wasn t only muscle, twas still very much swollen so we went for some xr. where they tokd me it was broken, tomorrow i may have little surgery to look at the ligament and th ey l put it in a cast, meanwhile it s in a slign(that s why you are reading me so slowly, cuz one hand does right slowly ).i slept a good part of the day as i m sedated.
but i tell myself, people s got worse injuries,so of course it s no fun but i won t die from it...oh ya forgot to tell you after xr. yest. we went to my parent,i triped and fell in the snow on top of it all.
thanks.

I hope you're feeling better soon, Franny, and your arm mends well.
I also think that sounds like a lawsuit waiting to happen. (And I'm not big on people sueing over everything, but for a spill that big, and especially since they knew about it because they had the tiny sign, that's blatant negligence.)

Oh Franny, how sad. Here's hoping you a speedy recovery and one with no pain. Take it easy, that arm has to mend right so it can still plant in the spring.

It sounds like Wal-Mart (aka Mall Wart) was SO negligent. Yes, sue...though they should compensate without going through all that. So sorry to hear about that, it must have hurt like ****! Hope you feel better soon, Fran.

Franny, prayers are going up from Iraq. It's not fun being in a cast and this close to Christmas. You'll have to play it up a bit and let the rest of the family do the big dinner and all. You take it easy and get that arm better. Hopefully, you have let Wal-Mart know already about how hurt your arm was. The longer you wait the easier their deniability. Jon

OH NO Franny! Just in time to get out of cooking for Christmas! (Sorry... that was the second thing I thought of! I think I'll head for WalMart!) Well, all is not lost... maybe they'll give you a sling too, & it can double as a bib! ![[Linked Image]](http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a201/PattySpencer/Holidays-USA/CHRSmileyYum.gif) (& maybe you'll get help cooking.) Seriously, I know this type of thing is pretty uncomfortable, to say the least, & I wish you speedy recovery. ![[Linked Image]](http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a201/PattySpencer/getwellpaint.gif) Has anyone said which arm is broken? If so, I didn't see it. (& is Franny right or left-handed?)

Hey guys. I have gotten a couple of PM's from Franny. Did not realize she had not checked in here so wanted to update. Her break is clean and she has not mentioned surgery. She has broken this arm 3 times in the same place, I believe, from what she said. Also, her boss did not want to find alternate work for her to do that she could do with a broken arm, so she is off for the next 6 weeks.

Agreed - WalMart should make up for her lost wages, as well as her medical bills, and suffering. Remember when the idiot at the deli counter slammed the glass door down on my head last year at the supermarket? Their insurance company was going to reimburse lost wages, but unfortunately since I do not work outside the home, there weren't any. Hopefully, WalMart in Canada will show some integrity! "edit" - now I gotcha, CindySueHappy!!! Big lawsuit, big settlement!!!
