Cindy,
Thank you very much for the basket. The Willy's are already hanging in my vine as you can see in Diane's picture. The two smaller ones are in the pots protecting what little I have. thumbup

It was very good to meet you and to be able to put a face with a name. By the way, we went to Outback tonight and Diane had her first Bloomin' Onion. She was only partially impressed. perpl

Brenda: We loved your stories on our road trip, especially the one about the skunk. shk
It was great meeting you.

Thank you Becky for sending me the Wandering Jew starts. They came through great and are in water to get over their shock. Will post the pics once I get them all potted up!!!

When I told Dan what they were, he knew the name of the plants. Apparently his mom used to grow them. So one will be for her once I get it going.

Your welcome, Penny!
But... WOW!!! I cannot believe how long they took to get to you!!! I don't remember exactly when I sent them, but it's been at least 2 weeks.

If you look above, Triss got them on September 16th, all the way across the country, and I mailed them all at the same time!!!

Penny, You can direct sow the cleome outdoors in the fall. I will be doing half of mine now and half in the spring.

And Lynne, I finally got enough seeds from the white cleome for you. Just have to get it in the mail.

Penny - you should know that 1 of those small seeds makes a pretty LARGE plant!!! It's better to have just a few plants, where they can grow to their potential - mine are about 5 1/2 feet tall right now!!! If you plant too many, they will be thin and spindly, trying to compete for room and sun - I know, I've tried it.

Sounds good Triss - thanks!

Lynne, in that case, you send me enough seeds for a forest. Don't worry, I am sending you just as many. laugh
