Apparently, tomorrow night is the full moon.
But it looked so very bright when it was setting this morning behind the mountains here at 6:55. Not the best picture, as I had to take it through the screen window, but you get the idea.


Just took these tonight through the white birch that's in front of our house.




Anyone else want to add this time around again?

Isn't it weird to think that we are all seeing the same moon, no matter where we are?

Yes, very weird--and interesting!
Even though it can look kinda different from our own angles of it.... it's cool to see what everyone else sees, then agian, what you see as well!

I will look tonight but doubt I will see much since we have clouds.

How many moons do you have in Washington? We have 12 moons in Tennessee. One of them is a single, solid, GIGANTIC diamond! It sparkles REAl purty at night!

Keep 'em coming - tonight is the real full moon for December.

My calendar said that the December's full moon was today, but here are 2 sites that say otherwise.

I just now noticed, the 2 sites in my last post show different days for the full moon. The Farmer's Almanac says Dec. 4, while the other has it as the evening of Sunday, Dec. 3.
There appears to be some confusion.

Our moon was REALLY bright last night. The sky was soo clear. I was able to go out back and could see everything without having a light on!

I finally saw the moon last night...it wasn't full, but at least I saw it for a few minutes.





...2 minutes after I took these pics it was behind the clouds again.

Glad you were able to see it - it was clouded over here, but you could see it glow behind the clouds still.
