Apparently, tomorrow night is the full moon. But it looked so very bright when it was setting this morning behind the mountains here at 6:55. Not the best picture, as I had to take it through the screen window, but you get the idea. ![[Linked Image]](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v161/LynneNY/moon12-04-06.jpg) Just took these tonight through the white birch that's in front of our house. ![[Linked Image]](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v161/LynneNY/moon312-04-06.jpg) Anyone else want to add this time around again?

Those are great, Mark - it's hard to get clear shots - I've been trying forever!
Isn't it weird to think that we are all seeing the same moon, no matter where we are?

Lynn! Great pics of our universal moon! It is cool we can each step outside and share a beautiful moon tonight. I just had to participate so here's mine, nothing special, just a beautiful December full moon on a very cold night in New Orleans! ![[Linked Image]](http://i111.photobucket.com/albums/n130/snapshutter/12-4-06008.jpg)

Your moon looks like the same moon we have here in Tennessee. Could it possibly be the same one?

I think the picture I showed would be the same moon, I dunno about seeing your "other" moon though.

How many moons do you have in Washington? We have 12 moons in Tennessee. One of them is a single, solid, GIGANTIC diamond! It sparkles REAl purty at night!

That's ok, Thorny - thanks for offering anyway! I'm loving the responses and pictures in this thread. Stephanie and Triss - your pictures are great. Thorny's too! Keep 'em coming - tonight is the real full moon for December.

I just now noticed, the 2 sites in my last post show different days for the full moon. The Farmer's Almanac says Dec. 4, while the other has it as the evening of Sunday, Dec. 3. There appears to be some confusion.

I finally saw the moon last night...it wasn't full, but at least I saw it for a few minutes. ![[Linked Image]](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v241/afgreyparrot/forum/mmoon.jpg) ...2 minutes after I took these pics it was behind the clouds again.

Those are terrific, Cindy! Glad you were able to see it - it was clouded over here, but you could see it glow behind the clouds still.
