Yes, those temps can go up, just as fast as that sun comes up...
*I vacationed 8 bunnies in mine this last week,
I was checkin' the temps constantly so I didn't fry them*...cause you got to watch the clouds, and such.. if there isn't a cloud in the sky, it soars.. if there's clouds but freezing cold, it'll rise differently..
I've planted probably more than I will ever have room to
plant outside, kind of like a kid in a candy store.
ohhhhhhh, don't I know that...
The first year, I planted every
seed in every package..
There was just not enough 6 pks that I'd saved, not enough
seed starting mix/compost that was made, ***I have to make mine up by the wheelbarrow loads, and I can't remember how many I made up last year.. 5 maybe**
I was giving
plants away to any neighbor that stood still long enough.. I even sent
plants home with sales people.. hahahaha
The following year, I only did like a couple of 6~pks each for the
plants, and if I only got 3 or 8
plants, that was okay by me...
brocholli, lettuce, marigolds, hollyhocks
They probably will not mind the cooler temps...
Broccoli and lettuce like a bit cooler,
Hollyhocks over winter here as babies, or roots, and green up right away..
and I had marigold
seeds that I'd thrown inside my
green house the fall before last, meaning to take them inside, and never did... and come
spring time, I sprinkled the
seeds on a pot/container just for an "experiment" and most of them sprouted... andddddddddd I had one taller marigold, drop a
seed in my raised bed, and it grew from
seed right there, over wintered outside.
soooo, they should be pretty tough...
All in all, I'm pleased with the
greenhouse and I get to spend some quality time out there whenever I want. It's a good place to rest your brain.
Don't you know it...
*I love sifting compost too, it takes a bit, but keeps me moving, outta trouble and out in the fresh air..
KEEP ME POSTED...
