Gorgeous pictures-I like the contemporary look.
Guess what-yesterday I had no choice but to destroy my tomato plant. Full of wormholes. And all the tomatoes catfaced and full of holes. The peas were raggy and not bearing.
I tore out all of my container crops.
No crops for me this year, unless I want to buy plants and try again.
Mostly the squirrels get so much, and I've been tired and neglected the tomatoes and peas.

Thanks, Weez, I was thinking about one of those planter boxes, a rectangular shape so that it would look like a real garden, with rows.
The idea makes me feel happy just imagining it.
How deep would a redwood box need to be for tomatoes, peppers, and maybe a dwarf cucumber?
I could have one made about 5 feet long, on wheels, but not sure about depth.

Yes ! Like that ! Thanks !
It looks about 2 feet deep. Good depth.
I'm thinking of having the complex handyman build me one.

Thanks, all. I can't resist, and can't do a summer without some kind of veggies growing, so tomorrow I'm getting tomato plants, the bigger the better, a pepper, an eggplant and some sunflowers.
I have a big 24" inch pot just sitting, full of good soil too, and so I'm going to get a GOOD container garden this time !
I may tuck in a few more radish seeds, and some small lettuces around the edges as a border.
Looking foward to my day off tomorrow, that's for sure ! grinnnn

hi waveyEnjoyed reading all the tips here. This is my first time growing sweet 100's and the little tomatoes are so cute, & can't wait to pop one in my mouth! All my veges are in pots & buckets. I have also entered them into our county fair along with my Big Boy tomatoes, and other veges. Good luck with your sweet 100's Deepanwita & all
