the first on is 'THE ORB OF SECRETS', the next is a pumpkin with a scene and there is a light in it, it's just not turned on!, the third is 'FAERYWATCHER'S KITTY RESCUE', she has a bottle of milk for all the little kitties that has lined up!
maybe if you could come down here for a visit, who knows, you may have one waiting for you to take back to cedar hill! i could also just tell you, they are easy but time consuming because it is very hard to put together a natural scene...i spend half my time sitting and thinking and looking!

no, i picked it up at a craft store, you can carve it yourself and keep it forever! wonder why that was not invented a long time ago? i just made an opening like something had busted out....or in!
see, we are not lazy, we just think and study about stuff we need to do!
Thank you! I will remember that excuse...for when I sit out in Hummingbird House or the Bus Stop...I will say I was "thinking and studying"!
Don't bother with the 'excuses' Cindy!...We all know you are SLEEPING!!
Wendy, I really like all the things I have seen that you make!! I really like the idea of the scene inside the pumpkin! You could do that with really nifty shaped gourds too!! I've seen it done in egg shells, but that would be too delicate for me to work with!! It would just be a crushed heap!!
one of the ladies that owns the antique store where my stuff (is not) selling, she makes stuff out of gourds she grows herself. a few has scenes in them, like for holidays, and others are animals!
Wendy Those are soooooooooo uniquely wonderfully done!!!! I love the pumpkin!!!!!!!!!!! I could see a fairy or a wee Willy or both in there working or playing!!!!!!! When you create more please post pictures!

Has anyone here heard the wise saying about sitting and thinking?
Sometimes I sits en thinks and sometimes I just sits.
"Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, it's inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery." by Winston Churchill
thank you! i like to show them off EVEN THOUGH they are not selling 'round these parts! i will have lots of pics from my booth when the festival gets here....and hopefully lots (of some) money!
also, a local woman here is gonna make me an outfit for it....i will have to wear it everytime i do a craft show---i am the faerywatcher----so i might as well dress the part! i will get a pic of that too!

Evidentially that store isn't the right venue for your stuff. It's great and people will love it when the right people see it. People looking for antiques probably aren't looking for crafts on that particular day.
What are the mushrooms made from? Are they ceramic? They're way cool.
When is the festival you're talking about? I'll bet you'll have a lot of customers then.
after the festivals, i am going to see about getting in a few places in cookeville (the big town 35 minutes away) that have more traffic through the stores.
the festival on 9-29 is here in gainesboro....every year they have a ghost walk to tell the history of the town....this year they changed the name and added the craft show to it. it is nothing but local, handmade things and all of the booths are going to be set up in the town square around the courthouse.
the other one 10-6, is just a 20 minute drive from here in a town called granville, it is some kind of jazz, quilt, and craft show. don't know anything else about it yet, just sent in my money for the booth fee!
i will keep you guys updated...i am sooo excited!
i forgot....the mushrooms??? believe it or not are dried lotus blooms glued to a stick! you can by a bag of them at walmart!
