 I hope........ Now a question enters my mind.......When the trees are all icy like today . And the birds land on them.. They can't hold on to ice right? Ours were on the ground today.. b

They climb on high wires, but not in ice.. Would be amusing to see one twirl.. lol

I've seen them on icy branches but they prefer to feed on the ground in snow and ice.

hey thornius i have a question where can i place a bird house in a yard with no trees? im thinkning bout getting one for my newly done yard and what kind of bird house should i get i saw a really really cute one at bealls home outlet store on sale for 10.00 orriginally 20.00 with a door in the back that latches i guess so u can cleen it out when they leave and move to a diff place... but i didnt know because it was painted and i didnt know if the birds dont like the paint? i have no clue... i hid it so it will still be there when i go back... lol

 hang it on a shepard hook or else on top of a tall Post. YOu dont need a tree...... However Thorn will give better instructions.. I am his agitator>.
