I grow guavas in plastic pots and half wine barrels.
There are 9 fruiting Feijoa [pineapple guava/Feijoa sellowiana [Acca sellowiana]. They are over 15 years old and cold hardy in Northbay California.
There are 6 Tropical guavas [Psidium guajava] grown from
seeds that are now over 3 years old, and 1 grafted of the same age. The tropical guavas are not cold hardy. Before winter, I wrapped the pots in bubble wraps and moved them under awnings. These guavas will be moved back to the garden in about 2 weeks.
