When
Washington's
Wickedly
Wet
Winter
Weather
settles in each year, and there is little that the gnomes can do in the gardens, most of the gnomes (poor ol' Willy hasn't had a vacation in many, many years...) get to take a well deserved break. Some travel to faraway, exotic places like Cleveland, but most of them are quite content to spend the Winter in the comfort and security of the Glass Castle.
Today they came back to Cedar Hill to tend the gardens.
Before they all spread out to the particular garden areas where they will spend the next several months, I asked them if they would mind posing for a Family Portrait. Some were already working and others just didn't want their picture taken, so this isn't everyone...
It takes a LOT of Gnomes to take care of Cedar Hill!

I :ding: them all, that's quite a big family! They have quite a spectacular home to live in.

One thing? Is Mr. Moose really a gnome in disguise? shock lol

You're a man after my own heart, I can't get enough of outdoor things like that! Not just gnomes, but anything I can find....

We were given two hands to hold, two eyes to see, two ears to listen & two legs to walk. But why were we given only one heart?
The other heart was given to another for us to find.

shock I will never ever again sweat how long it takes to get all the Willy village dwellers back out to the Village after spring breaks!! 4 hours just to gather for a portrait was quite a task indeed!! and it took two portaits to get them all in, and I wouldn't be surprised to know you found a few shy ones that didn't want their picture taken after sleeping and not getting any sun for a few months,, notme

I had to go get GrandPooBah and One hand runn'in willy to actually see just how Lucky Rosewood is to live with so many wonderful friends at CedarHill!
GrandPooBah says ,," That Bill fella sure is a special one, to share his land with so many of us, Sure am happy to see all the likes of us there clap" I see why Travel'in Willy was ready to go home! thumbup
