Good Morning,

I have hundreds of these growing on the back edge of our yard. I've had them for years. Last summer and this summer too, the green spikes come up abundantly, but no flowers whatsoever. What do you think my problem is?

Thank you,

Donna

there are a couple of possibilities that I've heard of. I would say if you have had them for years they maybe overcrowded. Or they may have gotten buried to deep maybe? Do you mulch them?

No, I don't mulch them, but I never had. I have had them for about 25 years. Without fail they flowered every year but the last two. Over the years I have separated them and put some new plants in other locations, but none of them are flowering. I used to love the way they looked when all in bloom. It's kind of sad.
