I leave for a student exchange this saturday and I still haven't done packing (I know...procrastination when it comes to packing isn't the best) but just wondering, can you think of anything that I might need? So far I have (trying to keep it light):
Clothes and towels (a week's worth)
Tickets
ID
Phrasebook
Camera
Phone+Charger
Flipflops (for the showers)
Maps
Deorderant/Tooth paste+brush

Will you need a fan for your room? My kids always needed one when they went to a summer program.

Maybe a gift for the people you are staying with, if you are staying with a family.

Where are you staying exactly again Kenny, I know you said but I can't remember.

Good idea from Glenda to take a gift for the family, that would be nice. Maybe a nice photo frame or a candle or something like that. A plant would be nice but I don't think you could pack a plant. lol Maybe make the mother a collection of seeds to take in case she has a garden. That way she can always remember your visit there.

I wonder if you'll need any swimming shorts?

good ideas, I would've forgotten about the batteries

I'm staying in a dorm so hopefully they have AC or something similar (I heard it's one of the newer dorms). I wanted to stay with a family, but then I'd have to bus to the college every day and it would've been too 'annoying'. I don't think I'm going to be swimming there, and it's been ages since I've been in swimming shorts or in a pool lol I'll hopefully be able to collect some seeds there to bring back home as a souvenir
