I was moving my aloe and two very large, heavy branches broke off. They are part of the mother plant so I can't re-start. I don't want to lose the abundant juices. Does anyone know of a way to preserve the aloe branches for awhile? Maybe put in a large baggy and place in refrigerator?

a couple of weeks ago I cut off some leaves of mine, shaved off the spikes and threw in the blender. then I poured into containers and put in the fridge. it's been two weeks and it is still nice and fresh. I wished I'd had the patients to peel the skin off, though. I peeled a couple then said to heck with it. now there are green specks in my 'lotion'. anyways, it's been 2-3 and the aloe is still fresh in the fridge. first time for me to try that. I've never froze them, but I don't see why that would work just as well.
