I menat "outpatient dialysis units" Tina because that's what Sheri asked me.

I got sidetracked with a very long call from my sister.

Hi everybody--I have been busy with the house & book work today.---Then Valarie came over & we went "grandpuppy shopping". It was so nice to see her.

Tina, glad you get a nap, and that Jonni was availabe to help out with Teddy.

Sheri, I hope Johnny has everything up and running for you soon.

Merme, so glad your nap worked out and you now are up to some coffee.

Cricket, I am glad you are feeling better.

...........Tomorrow is ceramics..... clap

Tina, I love ceramics but I envy you your job. It is so nice to be able to do something you love. The getting paid is an added bonus!!

Merme, I missed that you had a call with your sister. I too hope it was a pleasant call.

Yes, I enjoy talking with Ro. She lives in OH and is older than me by 3 years. I rely on her often for insights & knowhow! She usually calls me once a week, after her 4 year old grandson is good & asleep.

One of my dialysis techs takes her young children to a ceramics shop so they can do projects together. It sounds so fun when she speaks of it.... I can see why it appeals to so many people!

It is only 10 here tonight & I am shivering.

My Maxwellhouse coffee isn't tasting good to me any more. I think I need to invest in a pound of Dunkin Donuts. I drink so little it isn't that expensive... two cups a day, maximum.

I seem to recall hearing that they changed how they make it. We used to drink Folgers, I jsut changed because I buy the coffee that my ceramics lady makes for the class, and they drink Maxwell House---(I am one of like 2 or 3 people who drink it, so really they make it for me)

we may have to change too--once the 2 containers I have are gone.

I am gald you are so close to your sister--it makes it so nice to have a sibling to talk to.

My bladder is on a 4:30 alarm clock. I would rather adjust it to 5:30. But that is the way it is staying for a bit. At least I can get up and get some wood on the fires to warm the rest of the family. I am about ready for my second cup.

Good morning Tina & Afgrey.

I was off in my photobucket looking for pictures of flowers to put in my Loz thread. If it wasn't the dead of winter I could be outside snapping away with our new camera.

morning all!
I went back to bed after I got both kids on the bus. it felt good to sleep in. I'm doing some much needed cleaning and may run to town to get some dollar store supplies in a bit. I need to grocery shop too, but that might just wait till tomorrow. I'm off tomorrow too so I'm not getting in a big hurry to do anything.

OH! I am so sorry I missed the rasseling match! I wouldda had a ball! Messy but fun!

I went out today. I visited my friend and she was so pleased. I did a small bit of shopping in an un-helpful store & won't go there again.

We grabbed lunch at McD's & brought it home.

It got very cold while we were out.

I'm glad to be home.

chilly here today, I finally got power back on. I was so glad and we all got to take a bath. My mom's power was off until Saturday night she said it came on around mid night. Ashley has been sick she had a stomach virus and for an entire day I cleaned up puke. She's better now and went back to school monday. The kids were out of school a week for the ice storm here, they are trying now to figure out how to get caught up on their days

I've been working with the camera trying to figure out more details. I did manage to take some photos of crochet lace work I've done and get them posted in the Hobbies Forum. It was a bit of a challenge & I see I need to ask Diane some focus questions! lol

I made some Iced Tea today and it is so yummy. My coffee tasted foul today so I needed a change.

I've been having a lazy day today on my day off. I've gone into the kitchen about 4 times to clean and only manage to stay a few minutes then I find myself crochetting in front of the tv, or bumping up my seedlings into bigger pots. I did manage to get by the library and dollar store, though.
I'm waiting now to hear if my son will have after school football practice today. I do believe they will be rained out. bummer, since I'm off today and will be able to go watch.

just got back from my son's football practice. one coach in charge of 80 preteens. I must say I was impressed with his leadership. when I finally found the group my son was in, I noticed he was standing way off to the side by the cone when everyone was lining up. I thought how embarrising out of 6 playing fields all the kids are in groups around the ball except MY kid. after just a bit the couch blows the whistles and calls all the boys to come and sit. he then begins to tell them 'the center sets up in the middle of the field, the bla bla here, and the wide reciever should be one step inside the cone'. ha ha. Of course then I wasn't embarrased anymore, but very proud.

yes, it was nice merme. I don't know a lot about football. but have had friends with kids that have played. and one thing they all said is football can be dangerous for the ones who don't listen.
we were in the mid 70's again today, and drizzling rain off and on. we sure could use a nice long slow rain, but I'm not complaining. something is better than nothing. I don't ever remember watering in jan and feb as I've done this year.

Hi Merme,
I hope you warm up soon... it's chilly here today too and snowed a tiny bit but I haven't been sleeping today-- we cleaned out the office upstairs and changed the small bed for a bigger one- then I went thru the desk and cleaned that out too... Joe brought up one of our extra dressers too and I put up all the kids arts and craft stuff in a couple drawers... 2 drawers for office supplies... and one for odds and ends of computer stuff. now I have a bag of trash ,another one of stuff to shred ... that will be a job for another day.
Carrie ended up working today for a while... so she will be off tomorrow- she is working floral all week to get ready for valentines day... we went and got sutff for Timba to make his "mailbox" for school for his party- most of the decor stuff for valentines day is really girly but we found some frog valentine foam stickers- - and I had a box for him to use and construction paper to cover it with... they are supposed to be doing that tonit...
I have still been playing the Wii- just the bowling - can't do the other stuff very well... but can bowl- it's fun and Joe and I can do it together ... Derek even told me I don't suck at it anymore.... LOL! He is really good- can bowl 7 strikes in a row... even beat his Dad and Joseph all the time.
Well off to watch NCIS -
Nana

It is cold here tonight too. I woke to ice all over everything this morning. And may again tomorrow. I know that others have freezing temps regularly but my blood must be thinner.

Nana I am glad you enjoy bowling with the Wii. I can't bowl in real life, so I doubt I would be any good at virtual bowling. Once when I was a teen I went bowling & bowled a 45. That was the acme of my success! lol

Wow you surely got a bunch of furniture moved around today! Good for you! I hope you like the new arrangement & that it is all so much more functional for y'all.
