That is very pretty for a water tank.. How many gallons will it hold? What water have you had until now?

Thanks, Tina. It holds 3000L; I think that's about 794 U.S. gallons. We are on town water, but are on water restrictions, and soon we won't be able to water our gardens at all.

Yes, living in southern California desert makes me grateful for the rain that does fall. And an understanding of drought conditions.
We have two wells. One is a horizontal well into the mountain behind us. It feeds us lovely spring water gravity fed. The other is a deep well into an underground riverbed. That takes electricity to pump. But having them both gives me a feeling of security of sorts. Unless our drought lasts a lot longer.

I think you must live in a beautiful place. Your water situation sounds good. There's a lot to like about desert areas; I find them quite beautiful. But I guess you would love to see some rain as well.
