I have a bunch of bush beans started and their getting pretty tall. between 10-14" tall, they all look really good and healthy but I was told that if I transplant them into the garden when their this big, "as starts" they won't produce any beans? Said to directly sow the seeds or start new transplants. I'm about 1 week away from planting outside.....what are your thoughts?

I've always planted blue lake bush beans and have never had a problem with transplants. I put them out no matter how tall they are but I don't live in Alaska either. I certainly wouldn't throw them away if you have the space I'd plant them and a few direct sows.

Great thank you for the reassurance, I will plant them and plant a row of direct seeds I guess.
