Years ago...15 or so, I designed a little rocking horse for the little ones...real little ones. I made a few for some friends and before you knew it I was making 5 at a time and started to sell them per orders. Years past and Ive manage to have kept the templates through the travels of live but never pick it up again . Just the other day I pulled them down and whipped one up. I did originally make them for the kids but started to modify them with a hole to fit a potted plant in the saddle too. Im thinking of making them again to help while im on this GM so-called vacation I use to do them in colors and used color yarn for the mane and tail. Sometimes the bridle in another color....even had their name all fancy on them if they were ordered that way. This one I just made up I stained and used jute string for the mane and tail and is a bit lower then the orginals due to what I had at the time , Being for a plant it's better I think ...less rocking  Now to find the right spot for him ... Snow
Don't like the weather in Michigan?..wait 30 sec.

I tried to remember, but I said, "What's a flower?" You said, "I still love you..." (Dar Williams)~

Very nice!
My dad made a few rocking horses for his grandchildren - my son being the first of them. They were the same exact pattern as the one I had when I was a toddler. He painted them all bright yellow - it's a fond memory I have, and your pictures reminded me of them - thanks!
