Not sure what it is and im wondering if it can be split come fall? I would love to have more blooms like this during this time period in other spots.

It looks like Phlox (Phlox paniculata) to me. You can split it no problem we've split ours several times. It comes in lots of different colours and colour combinations.

I know there was a tag at one time but it's been there for 3-4yrs, tag is long gone .
