I recently ran out of my Ortho Insecticidal Soap.
It seems after spring it is hard to find.
Does anyone have a recipe for a homemade version??

Besides I am thinking it would be cheaper to make right ??

I would not really want to make more than a quart at a time because of storage issues.

Most times I just use 1 tsp dishwashing soap per gallon of water...basic but works..and usually I use 'Dawn' brand.

I just noticed my hibiscus leaves are being chewed up. This doesn't seem to affect the buds. What's the best insecticide to use on the leaves? Thanks.

Is the listerine just for slugs or does it work for other things too?
