I have rocks placed got some more dianthus and ready to put in ground,, I have more rocks to place and more ground cover sedum to buy but eventually the rock area with be dianthus and sedum this is along the sidewalk going to the front door,, with crapemyrtle trees already there,, this taken with my cell phone as my lap top media card slot doesn't work anymore,,, as you can see the ground hasn't been taken care of,,from previous tenants,, so I literately have a clean slate to work with

Very nice, I think I'm a bit jealous. We got another 2 inches of snow on the weekend. :(
And here I thought it was warming and I'd be able to do something soon.

I will ask Bill what that is....it's some kind of early weird iris with a name I can't remember. It's tiny like a crocus. If you want some I will send you some seeds...it multiplies from it's seeds every year as well as the plant getting stronger and bigger. I got it out of my old yard.

If you have a couple of extra seeds I'd like to try and grow them here. I could put them in front of my regular irises. Thanks for offering to share. I just need a few. I've got just about all the beds I can handle already in the garden. Can you believe that? I have a hard time believing that. It's only the beginning of the third growing season since I moved in.

Bill said it is Dutch Iris.
They are teeny tiny...like the size of a crocus.

I will get some for both of you...but they won't bloom again til next year.

My crocus' aren't up yet. Though I think I saw aomething green trying to poke out of the garden near the house in a very sheltered spot, not sure what yet, but maybe as it warms to above freezing this weekend I'll get a look and see what it was.

Thanks cindy. I'm patient too. This gives me time to make a place for them. Maybe I won't even have to move them one hundred times lol. I'm so not a designer.

I've hear that some of them will even poke there noses out with snow still on the ground. I'll cross my fingers for you.
