Hi - I'm new and hope I'm putting this in the right place. I have a pussy willow that bloomed quite nicely in the spring as usual. And now it is growing new pussy feet! I'm in London Ontario. Because I've never seen this before in my garden (or in anyone else's for that matter) I'm wondering if it's a "new this year" occurance for anyone else? Judypol

I just came from taking my husband to his tree stand... my pussy willows are budding in the swamp. We live in WI, I have never seen this before, what will happen to them for the spring?

It does happen, if you get cold weather for a bit and then some warmth..it tricks them into thinking they've had their dormant period(Winter) and it's time for them to bloom( spring). They will be fine..just a few less blooms next spring.
