I saw tater dancing on the tables tonight. He gets that from me! Good night, Tina...and Happy New Year. I need to try to sleep soon...I was up til 5am this morning before I fell asleep. Insomnia sucks.

G'nite Tina----sweet dreams !!! My computer was acting up & all I could do was site here & listen to it "work". thankfully it finally got done-- now that it is midnight I guess I will go to sleep soon  Happy New Year to you all!!!!!

I think I was trying to get mine to do too much at one time---and it finally said enough is enough---(and now my computer talks) I forgot that I could not edit & I was going to change my Happy Birthday graphic for Bill & wanted the pages to change too quickly---ah well it is all good now & the graphic I originally chose is fine-- Tell Rachel I said "Happy New Year"-

Maxi went to bed about 45 minutes ago. I am half-watching Mission Impossible III while waiting for the tea kettle to whistle. I want one last cup of Red rose tea to warm me up before bed. Our food was good tonight and I would make those things again. But I think I would add more velveeta to the sausage/hamburger dip and make it more dip-ish and less meaty.

Wow, you are all awfully chatty today! Happy new year! I'm working on my bottle of wine but I'm sure just a couple glasses will do me. We had veggies and dip, cheese, sausage, and crackers, and chips for snacks. Joey is in bed so it's just me, Aros, and the girls.

Good cold morning. I slept too well and let my fires burn low. Building them back up as I type. Today I will cook for the potluck football party I am attending (for a little bit). Deep fried mushrooms and a bunch of shrimp.

Cindy---so glad to hear that Rachel is coming down to visit tomorrow--that sounds like a good time---I know all of you will enjoy it.
Tina---glad that you slept so well, but sorry that the fires went down--I know waht a opain it can be to get them back up---but then all of your hard work to rebuild will be rewarding. THAT my friend is the good part---and just remember----you are enjoying waht I wish I could--that should help yo ufeel a bit better about haivn to rebuif the fires.
I too hope that Bill will enjoy his birthday...

I do enjoy the heat given by my fires, Carol. I even enjoy the labors involved with getting the wood together for them. It gives me short term and long term goals to achieve and warms me many times over before I even burn it. Life is good.

I am so happy for you, Tina--I am also happy that you are healthy enough to do all that needs done so you can enjoy that wonderful heat.
Even if we were to put in a wood burner today, I could not do all that would be needed for me to do to keep the fires burning while my DH was at work. You are blessed on many levels...

Yes, there is a lot of work involved. But it is satisfying work. And my house is warming, finally. I have a new (used) woodstove coming in right now that I have bartered for. It is to replace one of mine when it wears out completely. I will store it until I decide it is needed.
