I enjoy both Ted at home and Ted at school times. Ted is good with both as long as he gets breaks on occasion. He does get tired of a never-ending five day a week thing. He would always have done best with a 4 day school week.
And that being said I need to sleep soon. My forearms are aching from the chainsaws. If I made a steady diet of that work I'd end up with Popeye arms.

Hey everyone. It's late, been a busy day. Aren't they all? Seems I've gotten busier than I used to be. Maybe it's just having the kids full time. Things are good here, kids are doing well, the weather is mostly crappy but it's spring in Seattle so that's normal. Joey will be 12 on Thursday and my mom's birthday is on Saturday. We're going on a bird walk together and then I'm taking her out to lunch. Other than that I've been pretty busy at work and there have been some not so good times there but it's getting better. I'm about to head to bed, good night everyone.

good morning all.

cindy, thoughts and prayers still with you.

today my oldest daughter turns 16. *sigh* not ready.

i sliced the top of my finger off sunday night with a mandolin style veggie slicer. they actually gave me aftercare intructions for my 'partially amputated finger'. ugh. steve threw away my slicer, saying i would never be allowed to use it again after that, so no point in keeping it. *cries* it was a good slicer from pampered chef. i was the one that didn't use the guard.. oh well. maybe for the best anyway before they end up callin me stubby.

ripped out our old wood from around the front of the house that was our flowerbed. it was so rotten, and there were larvae in the middle of it all that i can only assume were the wood eating variety. *shudder* definately thinking some kind of rock structures for the next border. that probably wont happen till june at this point.. but at least i got part of the clean up under way before i lost bits of my finger.

enjoy the spring rains today.

Happy Wednesday! kilroy
Yesterday, my doctors office left a message to please call about my 8:20 appointment this morning. Unfortunately I didn't get the message until after 5, when the office was already closed. If I go down at 8:20, they will probably tell me that my appt. was cancelled. If I wait and call at 8 when they open, and they still want me to come in, I will get there a half hour late... nervous
I don't wanna go! cry

Good morning! That spread does sound delicious, Nana. I'm ready for work a little early today so I thought I'd stop in and say hello. Hope you don't have to go in today Bill, or maybe they rescheduled for later today? Tomorrow is Joey's birthday, today is his last day as an 11 year old. He's gotten tall this year too. I better get going, see you later!

I am glad you are doing so well, Bill. You have done very well to recover so much. I admire that. But you are still a youngster yet.
Good night. I am chainsaw weary and the northern climate is sending its wet/snowfall my way.
