I've had issues with slugs for years...they are always in my lettuce!

Does anybody have proven tips to get rid of them?

I saw this funny video the other day depicting a human 'slug' lol Everytime I see them in my yard that's what I think of...so disgusting. I've got to get rid of them!

Welcome,Marcus. Here is a link to how to control them. Link
We have had many, many conversations here about slugs and snails. Some have been hilarious but they are still obnoxious pests.

That stale beer idea in Bill's link really works good! We had strawberries last summer and used lids with beer. they liked the beer more than the strawberries and the beer killed them, yay! anyway, we got a ton of great strawberries! :)

We use egg shells around plants that slugs love. Just crush them up and sprinkle them densly around the plants. the sharp edges are too much for their soft tummies so they avoid them.
