I was given a varigated sage this summer and left it in the pot outside (usually watering it when it looked sad), Now that the fall weather is here I'm wondering should I bring it in, or should I put it iin the ground?

I think you will have to bring it in for winter. I found this info: http://pnwplants.wsu.edu/PlantDisplay.aspx?PlantID=362
