I took my son to school and decided to come home and put some meatloaf on to bake. So I have two 3 pound meatloaves in the oven. I will be eating good for a day or two and have some for the freezer for later.
I love meatloaf sandwiches.

Well, I had my meatloaf for lunch. And then again for dinner. It as that good. Tomorrow it will be a cold meatloaf sandwich or even two. I may not have any left over to freeze due to my appetite and my older son's.
I really need to get some outdoor stuff accomplished very soon. There are ditches to be readied for any winter rains we get.

Ditch day means something other than it did when I was in school. Today is digging ditches and cleaning out debris.

Last year in my sorrow , I put 3 checks in the bank and forgot to enter them in my register.
Then wondered why I had so much in the sheet they sent monthly. Went to the bank an they found it >LOL

Morning all,
I made meatloaf last night too, have some extra left over to freeze.. always good for days we don't want to cook..
I am finally getting over this cold- still have the slight cough but the feeling like all I want to do is sleep is gone... which is really nice... we are having nice weather the next day or so- then they put the s word in our forcast... not ready for it but guess it will come whether I want it to or not..
Timothy had to write a fractured fairy tale for school yesterday.. he did the The Three Little Potatos.. he did really well with it- the little potatos end up french fried- eaten by the farmers wife and a dog... he did illustrations too.. sure hope the teacher likes it.
Well I need to go do my bills and see if there is money left over... seems like there is always something that needs to have money thrown at it.... Dodge I did that forget the deposit trick years ago too... I finally figured it out , always nice when its to the good... Have a good day all... off to the books

I love to cook. I like it more than eating. I just like to cook big and I don't need to eat big. I am always cooking and then sharing with neighbors. Today I will not be cooking. So I am glad there is a lot of home made microwave food in the freezer.

I enjoy cooking when I'm in the mood, but many days I'm just too tired to care what I eat. I understand completly not want ing to cook. I find it easier to cook for a large group then just for me.

We are having a United Way campaign at work so things are extra busy here, doing my regular work adn finding time to run event, yesterday we did Pumpkin Bowling. Today I called Bingo. Monaday wedo the cookie cantest, This year it has to be a chip contest, So I'm wondering if anyone has a recipe for a Chip cookie, something different say maybe with potatoe chips. I might make one the looks like a microchip. I'm thinking putting paint chips in might be a bad idea.

Any opinions?

Hi everyone. I've never had a meatloaf sandwich but Joey loves making them with leftover meatloaf. Not sure what I'm making for the family tonight. We haven't made a grocery list or menu yet, but for me I'm making rice and veggie stuffed acorn squash. I came home and went back to sleep after dropping off the kids at school. I have been exhausted and short on sleep all week and it felt really good to get that extra bit.

I had my meatloaf sandwiches for dinner. No room for dessert and I gave part to the dog.
Ditch work was begun outside but there is plenty more to do.

Last night I made a large recipe of bran muffin batter that can sit in the fridge for a while as you bake up batches for a couple of weeks. This morning, my house smelled lovely as some baked. I had a couple for breakfast.
My house still smells divine with the pork roast, carrots and onions I have in the crockpot. Dinner is cooking itself while I am off doing other things today.
I slept well and hard last night but I still need a nap.

Ahhh...sweet and sour pork...I've been thinking about that a lot lately. Guess I'll be a copy-cat again tomorrow.

I am all over the internet looking for new ideas for stuff to eat. I get tired of the same old, same old. Copy cat all you want. I do.
I got about half my main ditch cleaned out. I still have some plants to cut back that are going to clog up the water going by during heavy rains.

Good morning. Today is a laundry day because I didn't yesterday. And I will work some more on my ditches. The rest of the day will be geared towards getting my son ready for a new school week. Dinner will be the remade pork. And lots of leftovers to clean out my fridges.

Today is nap day for me....if Lola and Spartacus will co-operate.
Spartacus has already scratched a big mark across my nose, and Lola bit me under my eye.

I guess I need to stop trying to kiss them when they are in a bad mood.... idea

Cindy, when your cat learns to open the fridge, you are going to be in massive amounts of trouble.
I have gotten some stuff done today so it hasn't been wasted. My son is in his bath getting ready for the week school ahead.
All is well in the world.

He tries to open it...if he ever figures out it opens from the middle (side-by-side) instead of the side he will be raiding it.

You need to come up with a hot smoothie that will stick with you, Cheryl. I drink my coffee all year long, all day long.
