They live down on Lake Washington... right on the biggest lake in the state... down by Bill Gates and his friends...
That embarrasses me for what my state's people have lowered themselves to. uhuhh

thats horrible, for how many people that really need it and can't get past the red tape. I'm glad to hear at least one state does workfare instead, its such a better way to go!

I think that type of social program is what we as western society need more of. Helping people help themselves. We have some programs for mentally handicapped to work, but I really wish we had a workfare system instead of a welfare system.

Some times it makes me wonder .However the politicians are just as bad.
And why do you think sneaking across the border is such a big deal..Soon as they arrive they get welfare....Us dummys work all our life an they take it off us......We certainly are a country who does it ourselves.............

My daddy was a polish decendent ....His relatives had to have a job to get here.. If the the border sneakers had to have a job first, would they still sneakkkkkkkkkkk??

I worked in dirt all my life an dont regret it .. Daddy had a dairy farm an worked in a coal mine to buy it. Raised 10 kids without welfare. We acturally helped others make it...

THats my story an I am sticking to it.LOL teach

I know people here that can't get help no matter how bad they need it , One person I know well has cancer and eye sight so bad he can't drive but can't get any kind of state or Federal help.

As for the immigration problem every time I went over the border they always send me back to Texas said they don't need me in New Mexico. lol

over the years we had 2--both are gone now--but were wonderful pets---BUT--let me say, while they are of the right temperment to be a family dog--they really need to be a "working" dog to be truely happy. Ours were just pets, and were constantly over at the neighbor's dairy farms....trying to herd the cows...

Thats true, Carol.

We have gone to many Scotchmans Bagpipers shows, an the Border collies were there demonstrating they dogs bringing in the Sheep...........Our last dog was part b.collie an preformed that chore for us......

We did have the large lassie type of collie for about 20 years.. They are very dedicated.

well yoiu could always go to a shelter & pick out a well mannered house broken dog, to keep you copmpany.

We love our Austrailian shepard mix---he to is a good dog, he even scratches at the door when he wants in after being outside.
