I've had a hectic day after staying up ALL night last night. I haven't had time to even try to get a nap in today so maybe that will help me go to sleep in a little while.

It was t-shirt weather here today...very warm.

PS....just wondering, (after Tina's "Gopod" in the Shout Box). Does everyone have a little red x in a box where they can delete their post there after it's been posted?

Last edited by afgreyparrot; Feb 2nd, 2012 at 12:58 PM. Reason: I don't care who you are, "Gopod" is some funny stuff...LOL

My x is blue too. I could have used it but I decided to leave my typo hanging out there.

Everything is as it should be, Bill. From my point of view anyway. Except for this teen that is on a mission to make everything difficult. At the end of an emotionally taxing day, I am not a pretty sight. Can't decide if I want alcohol or ice cream.

Good morning all, had a long busy day yesterday..appointments, errands and such. I was also lucky enough to get in a haircut, I don't go often but I always feel so good when I leave. I got half of my hair cut off grin

There were alot of accidents yesterday morning, everywhere I went...roads were closed off and re-routed...slow down people.

Cheryl kissie hang in there, I have been there myself...sometimes I still am. You just got to stand your ground, apparently they will grow up, well that's what I was told...I am still waiting on mine lol

Good Morning.

Ladies..about "teens" I found that it take some children longer go get out of the 'teen stage' than others---but hey--it will happen eventually. MIne are going to be 26 & 32 this April & they each still have their "days". But there are now more good days than not--so yes stand your gground & then hang in there.

I am glad that you did not get into an accident Sunny. Plus getting some thing done for "you" (I call it me time) is always a good thing.

I think I have a cold---it is hard to be sure as one of my meds have the side affect of a runny nose & a sore throat. We shall see as the day progresses.

Well I am off to get some coffee & a housecoat. BB later

and oh Bill ?? The blue "X" ?? it is so we can delete our posts in the shout box if we so chose.

Good morning. I don't see anywhere that needs a fix, Bill. You can rest easy. I have no heavy duty plans for my day. I'm thinking of taking it easy for most of the day. Maybe cooking something. Baking. Things that refresh me.

For the past few weeks, we have been honored to have a Snowy Owl visiting us from the Arctic. We've seen him, but never when we have a camera. kilroy
I have been out searching for him this morning, but to no avail...
He is pretty hard to miss, since he stands over 2 feet tall and has a 5 ft. wing span! yikes
Needless to say, the kitties are staying in at night... cat

Wow, I hope you get to take a few pics...amazing. We have lots of owls here but I have no clue what kind.

Yup, when the birds are bigger than kitties they need to be babysat.

Tina and Carol, you should bake brownies then send me some lol

I love snowy owls they're so pretty. I used to see them almost every winter when I was a kid but haven't seen one in ages.

O.k. DH says we have snowy owls.....he said we see more of them when the lemming population is low in the Arctic.

Keep a close eye on those kitties.

I have owls here. A couple different types. Not sure of varieties. Large ones. It is fun to watch the parents teach the babies how to fly and hunt and swoop over the pool to drink. We found it was not a good idea to stretch a water volleyball net across the pool and leave it up.

It's beautiful here. Was yesterday too, felt like spring! I needed the sunshine, it really does make a difference in my mood. I have yet to grow anything edible. My garden is a neglected mess at the moment. Cindy, glad to hear you slept last night.

Fresh peas off the vine are pure candy. But the critters around here really like the vines too much and they don't get a chance to grow.

Good morning. A sunny and warm day here. A good day for some commercials. I am hoping this crop is better than last year's. And I hope I can stay awake for them. Football tends to make me sleepy.

Good morning! Sunny here today. Hoping to get outside for a run. I hoped for that yesterday too and ended up sleeping most of the day. It's been sunny and about 60 here the last few days. Love this weather.

Why is that sad, Carol? My tulips are starting to come up. Maybe next weekend I can work up the motivation to take care of the garden. I'm having trouble with motivation to do much of anything at the moment.
