we recently moved to japan, and i got some really cute flowers from our neighbors who moved away..i have no clue what kind of flowers they are or what kind of care they need. also i live on a tropical island and its raining alot here, AND i think their starting to die because the leaves and blossoms turned brown! i dont want them to die how can i fix this?? please help!
yes they are potted, i found out i got one snowball bush thingy in a pot, we are not allowed here to plant directly in the dirt (housing rules) yesterday i cut of all bad flowers, which was pretty much all of it -.-... but i noticed on the sticks that something new is growing. could i post a picture?
and i tried to change potts but and soil but with the oter flowers..that kinda look like red hibiskus but just smaller..or more like an old discplayer, their roots are completely messed up. also i have purple ones of that kind and another rose "like" bush thingy also in a pot! those leaves and blossoms turned brown aswell, just like with the snowball bush so yesterday i cut it all off now i guess i have to be patient? or did i just kill my new flowers completely?
Be patient. I had plants that looked dead for weeks and finally put out new leafs. keep them protected and check the leafs for tiny mites. If you see any spray the plant with water.
Patience is definately the best, as well as pruning away the dead material. I've had several plants over the years that I had nigh on given up on, put them outside and in a few weeks they were showing new growth. If you do kill the current bloom the plant will have more energy to put into the vegetative growth which will strengthen the plant.
May the wind always be at your back and your keel in the water
