Tina, creaks I can live with but doors that won't shut tight are my problem. I finally got them finished...my house has shifted so much over the years that I gave in today and planed the tops and bottoms of the doors. I used my DH's electric planer...that thing is amazing.

Now if I could only convince myself to paint them this week I'd be happy.

Ah, doors that won't close are a problem. Good job with the fix.
My house has settled so much over the years too. If you place a ball anywhere in it, it rolls downhill. I can live with that. But watch out if you set a pill on a counter or something. They roll away too.
I am done for the day. I'll make something for dinner but beyond that, I don't think much else will get done this day.

good evening, I noticed some of you didn't get to see the eclipse a few nights back. If I can figure out how to shrink the photo sizes I'll post a few of the ones we (and by that I mean my hubby he is far better at these things) took of it. We had light clouds but otherwise a pretty good view from our back deck.

Good morning. I'll be staying home today with a sick Teddy. He is at least a pleasant sicko. I hope he recovers quickly.

Good Morning.
I started the day off with a bang. I decided it was a good idea to throw a glass jar into the recycling bin from the kitchen door. egad It bounced (yep) out of the bin and onto the cement floor of the garage. I was sweeping up broken glass for 30 minutes. rolz I hope I have learned my lesson.

Sorry I was not back in yesterday. I woke late in the morning, after being up so late the night before, got in the shower & left for ceramics. After ceramics & lunch I took my Mom to her Drs. appt. then out grocery shopping. I was so wore out when I got home I just laid on the couch all night.

Good fix on the doors, Sunny. When you get done painting your doors, you are welcomed to come here. My DH is ranting b/c I have not painted my laundry room & such...

Teddy finally got sick, Tina ?? I am so very sorry. Glad he is taking it well.

I am off to Therapy in a few minutes. Catch everyone later.

Our province got hit with a 24 hr rain storm....5 to 7 inches worth. We are o.k. but South of us is just awful.

I too am sorry for the extra rain, Sunny. Glad you are ok and I hope everyone else finds a way thru it as well.

It is way cool here. I am sitting in my pj's & a jacket. My long-sleeved house-coat is in the wash. I guess I should really change over my closets soon.

Dishwasher is running & there are clothes in sorted piles to wash today. I think I shall also make myself a list of fall cleaning to do & start getting those done.

Good morning. I am glad it is Friday. I won't feel so stressed over my son missing school the next couple of days. Next week he should be well enough. I think I have enough to hole up for the weekend. So we're good to go here.

I hope Teddy is better very soon.

I washed my windows yesterday inside and out. Today is laundry and such...the boring old normal routine.

Grandgirl will be coming though after school for the weekend, she had an incident at the bus stop the other day. A little boy tried to kiss her and apparently she karate chopped him to the throat. lol That's my girl.

Hoping you all have a good day.

Yes, I hope teddy is better soon too. My oldest Grandson has a head cold as well. I just got a book in the mail that he asked for. I would love to take it to him, but I do not need his cold.

A Karate chop, huh, Sunny. I am impressed. but where did she learn such as that.

Today I may stay home or I may go to my cousin's house to take her a doll arm. She is pouring one for a friend of mine.

for now I will drink some coffee. Later I m ay also go grocery shopping.

I've done a bit today. It felt good to get things done. I need to finish some things though like emptying my laundry basket so as to be able to get in the next load. But, hey, the laundry is done. It has been a couple of weeks.
