Thorny, everything you said is true-Saltflower's affectionate and he just loves being petted and praised. Loves to burrow and snuggle in his blankie. He sleeps in his crate in my bedroom at night and is in his yardlet days.
I got him a plush white rabbit and he snuggles with it and washes it every day. So cute to watch.
It took time and effort to get him calmed down and tame but it's time and effort well spent.
I'm learning alot from the House Rabbit Society too.
He's a joy !
Thought I'd post this update as well as my thanks for your help.

I had been wonderin' how you were doin' with your bunny the other day..
(We were visiting an place that sold animals, and the
boys were stationary at the bunny bins)

**I wish Christina would get her butt on here,
she is a house bunny lover and would love to hear
of your adventures with him...**

Ummmmmm, I think I am going to move this post into the
Critter Section though..
Just to let you know...

They are wonderful. My oldest grandson came in from Texas last week and fell in love with Two Bean Bags. He would pick up Two Beans and toss him lightly through the air to kland on the bed. Surprisingly, Two Beans LOVED it! He would run back over to my grandson, wigling his nose VIGOROUSLY ( a sign of happiness in a rabbit), and wait for my grandson to pick him up and toss him again. They played that game for hours.

TOSS-THE-BUNNY!

I meant to say, the reason he's in his crate in the house at night is because I'm getting Salt and pepper used to each other.
When (if) I'm 100% confident that she won't look upon him as prey he can have the run of the house.
He never makes a litter box mistake.
Weezie, thanks for thinking of us ! Did the boys get a rabbit?

H#llllllllllllll NO, I used to have 40+ bunnies when I was
a kid... *and I loved them then, filled a void living in the
country and giving me something to occupy me*
And if I had the space, YESSSSSS, I would have,
but we don't have the space and we live in town,
so, unless we ever could figure something out, the answer is NO.

But we love, love, love to go play with the bunnies in the places that carry them, so as a treat we go and play with them for an hour or so...
