hello all, im new to the forum. im in western kentucky. im a novece gardener. all i know how to do is put a seed in the ground and water it, but i enjoy seeing things grow and prosper. it brings me fulfilment. i have many hobies, i wont tire you with listing them here. im married and have a 3 yr old, also another on the way. i have about 3/4 of an acre i can put a garden on this year, it will be my first garden in the ground. im excited, and trying to find recources for obscure berry plants huckleberry.dewberry,elderberry,gooseberry, and the like. i make wine, my wife makes jam/preserves, and canns fruit. im not knowlegeable, and i will prolly ask many questions that have been asked before. if i do, im sorry, and please bear with me

I'm in London. I went to Western Kentucky several years ago to Land Between the Lakes, or something like that. I was in a bad mood, so I don't remember much about it. I do remember it was a lot FLATTER there than it is here!

We have plenty of hills here! Reckon that's why they call us "hillbillies"? nutz laugh lala

yeah, i am going to grow some grapes. my aunt has quite a few grape vines. she is giving me clippings laugh i havent yet tried a solid grape wine, i normaly go for a bit more obscure types of wine..... banana, blackberry, pumpkin, sweet potato, garlic(for cooking), mint, etc..... but i do intend to make some grape this coming year...
