We have had three weeks of torrential rain and storms here.
Also had a major disaster in Boscastle in Cornwall. The river burst its banks and poured down into Boscastle huge torrents wiped everything in its path away.I think some of you may even have been there on holiday. lt is a very popular holiday resort for Americans. Full of historic buildings. Alas they have been washed away. Luckily there was no loss of life, they say it was a miracle.
Obviously my poor garden has suffered terribly wavey wavey wavey

Doreen, I too was thinking about you.....my dad told me about what happened....he's a weather nut, and keeps on top of English weather too(since he's still English)....he was telling me that the reports were that a 10 foot wall of water went through the area.....but that it was only several inches of rain in total....is that right? Over here several inches is nothing, but over there I suppose that's a lot to get all at once.....It is amazing that there was no loss of life, so glad to hear that! kissies

I just found this link about it...

Doreen,
Hope all is okay!!!

I saw the tail end of that story,
they showed it while I was flippin' channels..
*I am so bad at doing that sometimes*
Didn't realize it was in your area!!

The flower you mentioned, what color is it?
I have one that, of course, has no tag on it,
but thought it was that name, and mine is doing
so nicely despite it's abuse it's gotten from me.

I'll have to do some looking to see if it's the same plant, remind me.

Again, Glad to hear all is well
"Over the Pond"!!!! wavey

Weezie
