laugh Well have I got news for all you "Squirrel Lovers"! I like the little critters too, but they had a feast with all my plants. I found out if you put out "FOX URINE" all the other critters stay away smelling the preditor's scent! All my plants are growing beautifully now & no one was hurt in the process! :p I got it at a feed store, Southern States. They also sell the cpntainers you stick into the ground & hold the urine. smile

Bob's #41 squirrel came all the way from S. Carolina and is here in Calif. now. He hasn't done any harm as of yet! Living on only a third acre I have to keep in mind the respect for others noses.....so wondering how bad the smell of the fox urine is????

Will it work to keep the coyotes away? My place backs up to an orange grove. At this point I am curious unless Mr. #41 starts miss behaving!!!!!
At the moment it is war with a couple gophers. mad Thanx gopher hunting catlover

:p Hi, Catlover! The smell of the Fox Urine is not offensive to me nor anyone else that has been around. I have about 5 of the containers with it in it all around my pool area in the flower beds. Trust me...I would NOT be laying out at the pool if it stunk! laugh They have other "Preditor Urines" available also. I saw one for the Coyote. Check out this site & see if you can get more information about it. www.legupenterprises.com Good luck! wink

Hi Kathie thanks for the info.. I decided not to use it because.....it is mountain lion urine they use to fool the coyotes into thinking there are mtn. lions in the area. We have mtn lions and bobcats, fox within this area and it will act as an attractant for females of the opposite sex. Really don't need a bobcat or mtn. lion in my yard. Think I will take my chances with the coyotes. Maybe a couple big dogs. Thanks for the info. though it was very informative. Catlover
